When I clicked on a link on my primary widgets, it returned an error. here is a snapshot of the error.
I employed the wordpress plug-in Linkable Title Html and Php Widget by PepLamb and linked it the shortlink of my blog page.
For several weeks the link was ok but just this morning, the error occurred when I clicked on it.
I edited and reentered the link. nothing.
I reentered the link and retype the title of the link but to no avail.
3 cups of coffee later, I hit the nail right on the head.
What solved the problem?
Very simple.
I linked the widget to the long url or permalink of the blog page.
It was not a plug-in problem after-all.
For some reason the shortlink is not working.
